Love at first swipe! 

How it went down...

Jacinta moved to The Queen City in November of 2023 for her first real job! Ever since high school, she wanted to move to North Carolina to experience actual seasons (without shoveling snow, obviously). After 3 months of unsuccessful dates with "finance bros", she swiped "like" on Mason in February of 2024. Mason moved to Charlotte to continue his professional career with TTI, now taking on a new role with new responsibilities. He made the move from Kansas City to the East Coast in early 2024. After settling in, he swiped "like" on Jacinta in February of 2024. Jacinta had a photo of her in Beaver Creek, Colorado - where her family enjoys the slopes, big mountains and cold weather. Skiing is one of Mason's favorite activities. Jacinta's picture was the perfect clickbait.... "Great picture! Where do you go skiing?" Mason asked to start conversation. "Beaver Creek!!" Jacinta replied. They continued to talk about hobbies, when they moved to Charlotte, what college they attended ( Go Noles &amp; MIZ-ZOU!). After getting more comfortable, Mason finally asked Jacinta on a potential date! Jacinta gladly accepted and they exchanged phone numbers. Jacinta cancelled on Mason 3 times- she had her best friend visiting, she had water polo practice, she got back too late from a work trip, etc.... finally Jacinta came to her senses and said to herself "if I don't go on this date he is going to move on". After rescheduling 3 times, they finally meet at Sycamore Brewing, where they watched Oakland upset Kentucky in March Madness. They spent 5 hours talking, laughing and Jacinta learned a whole lot about basketball, seriously - she learned so much about basketball that she beat Mason in the March Madness Bracket Challenge in 2025!! Mason secured the second date before the first one even ended! Since then, they have been exploring Charlotte together - hiking, going to the beach, watching the hornets play, going to the farmers market together and exploring nearby cities by going camping in the mountains and traveling together. They have also gone to Beaver Creek, CO together - the place that could have arguably started this relationship. They have traveled to Atlanta, Wisconsin, Boston, Florida, Iowa, Colorado and Tennessee. They enjoy being on the move! Most recently, Mason and Jacinta traveled to Chile in South America to spend the holidays together for the second year in a row. In 2024, Mason met Jacinta's entire family. A year later, he was invited back to Chile, where he asked Jacinta to marry him. Jacinta and Mason are extremely excited to continue their love story, and are blessed to spend their special day with friends and family from all over the states and world! Jacinta and Mason want to extend their deepest gratitude to everyone, whether you are traveling from near or far, that you could join them for this celebration.

¡Jacinta se mudó a la "Queen City" en Noviembre de 2023 para comenzar su primer trabajo de verdad! Desde el colegio, quería mudarse a Carolina del Norte para vivir con estaciones reales (sin tener que palear nieve, obviamente). Después de tres meses de citas fallidas con “finance bros”, en febrero de 2024 le dio “like” a Mason. Mason se mudó a Charlotte para continuar su carrera profesional con TTI, asumiendo un nuevo puesto con nuevas responsabilidades. Hizo el cambio de Kansas City a la Costa Este a principios de 2024. Después de instalarse, en febrero de 2024 le dio “like” a Jacinta.Jacinta tenía una foto en Beaver Creek, Colorado, donde su familia disfruta esquiar, las grandes montañas y el clima frío. Esquiar es una de las actividades favoritas de Mason. La foto de Jacinta fue el anzuelo perfecto… “¡Gran foto! ¿Dónde esquías?”, preguntó Mason para iniciar la conversación. “¡Beaver Creek!”, respondió Jacinta. Continuaron hablando sobre sus pasatiempos, de cuándo se mudaron a Charlotte y a qué universidades asistieron (¡Go Noles &amp; MIZ-ZOU!). Cuando ya se sentían más cómodos, Mason finalmente invitó a Jacinta a una posible cita. Jacinta aceptó encantada e intercambiaron números de teléfono. Jacinta le canceló a Mason tres veces: tenía a su mejor amiga de visita, tenía práctica de waterpolo, regresó demasiado tarde de un viaje de trabajo, etc. Finalmente, Jacinta entró en razón y se dijo a sí misma: “si no voy a esta cita, él se va a olvidar de mi”. Después de reprogramar tres veces, por fin se encontraron en Sycamore Brewing, donde vieron a Oakland vencer sorpresivamente a Kentucky durante el partido de basketball March Madness. Pasaron cinco horas hablando y riendo, y Jacinta aprendió muchísimo sobre basketball —en serio, aprendió tanto que le ganó a Mason en una competencia de bracket del March Madness en 2025! ¡Mason aseguró la segunda cita antes que terminara la primera!Desde entonces, han estado explorando Charlotte juntos: haciendo hiking, yendo a la playa, viendo jugar a los Hornets, visitando el mercado local y explorando ciudades cercanas acampando en las montañas y viajando juntos. También han ido juntos a Beaver Creek, Colorado, el lugar que podría decirse que le inicio a esta relación. Han viajado a Atlanta, Wisconsin, Boston, Florida, Iowa, Colorado y Tennessee. ¡Les encanta visitar nuevos lugares! Más recientemente, Mason y Jacinta viajaron a Chile, para pasar las fiestas juntos por segundo año consecutivo. En 2024, Mason conoció a toda la familia de Jacinta. Un año después, fue invitado nuevamente a Chile, donde le pidió a Jacinta que se casara con él. Jacinta y Mason están sumamente emocionados de continuar su vida juntos y se sienten bendecidos de poder compartir su día especial con amigos y familia de Chile y de todo el mundo. Jacinta y Mason desean expresar su más profundo agradecimiento a todos los que viajaran para acompañarlos en este día tan especial.

Can I bring a plus one/guest?

We would love to celebrate with everyone! Unfortunately, due to space constraints, we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed on the invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding, and can't wait to see you! ***¡Nos encantaría celebrar con todos! Is the wedding outside?

The Charlotte- Douglas International Airport (CLT) is a great place to fly into. Only 25 minutes away from the venue, it offers great transportation options like car rentals, Uber and lyft.****El Aeropuerto Internacional Charlotte-Douglas (CLT) esta muy bien ubicado. Solamente 25 minutes del evento, ofrece buenas opciones de transporte como Uber, Lyft y alquiler de autos.

Traveling from the Orlando Area: - Available flights from MCO to CLT include constant flights with American Airlines and Frontier.- Available flights from regional airport Sanford to Concord/Charlotte are also a great option. The airline out of these airports is Allegiant, and they have select travel dates.
